4th AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Institutional Assessment
The ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) was established in 1998 to harmonise educational standards and to seek continuous improvement of academic quality for universities in ASEAN. To strengthen QA development and enhance technical skills among universities in ASEAN, the AUN-QA Secretariat is promoting the development of the QA System as an instrument for maintaining, improving and enhancing the teaching, research and overall academic standards.
The AUN-QA Institutional Framework was launched in January 2017 and it is the first regional QA framework at the institutional level in ASEAN. The framework is holistically designed with reference to the ASEAN QA Framework (AQAF), Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015 – Part 1) and the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework Education. The framework encompasses strategic, systemic and functional QA to drive quality in education, research and service.
With regards to this occasion, the AUN-QA Secretariat would like to extend our warm invitation to your delegates to attend the AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Institutional Assessment (Tier 3) on 6 – 9 January 2020 at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The hands-on workshop comes with numerous exercises and cases to give participants a highly interactive and experiential learning experience. This comprehensive programme is meant for professionals who are in charge of quality assurance at their respective institutions in the region.
